Minnie Mouse Mashup Card Challenge

Hi Stamper!

Today we have a fun challenge for you! As a crafter, you have cards that you absolutely love. The stamped images are perfect, the layout is on point and the colours pop. Now, we all have that one card that we look at and are still unhappy with. Sometimes the image got smudged, the sentiment isn't perfectly straight or the colours didn't end up matching. It happens to the best of us. So, today we are issuing a challenge to take two cards, one that is perfect and one not so perfect and mash them together to make a new card! It's a fun way to take two cards and make them into one. Check-out our Mashup Card Challenge below, featuring Minnie Mouse!

This card was so much fun to make and has become one of my all time favourites. In fact, we will be creating this card at our next classes on Wednesday June 22 and on Thursday June 23.

Blog Hop: A Nice Cuppa

Hi Stamper!

This month's blog hop is here! This month features the Have a Cuppa Suite from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. What have we made? A Mother's Day card of course. Mother's day is just around the corner and, so is the last day to order from the Occasions Catalogue. The last day to order is May 31st, so be sure to place your order as soon as possible. You don't want to miss out on these amazing products!

Tip: When daubing the background piece, use circular motions and be sure to blend the colours. You can blend your colours simply by overlapping them, which creates hybrid colours (it looks more natural this way). Also be sure to start off the piece of cardstock and then slowly make your way onto the cardstock. This stops from getting unwanted dark spots and blotches of colour.
