Blog Hop: Love Blossoms

Hi Stamper!
This month's blog hop is here, and just in time to showoff a Valentine's Day card. This month's blog hop features the Love Blossoms Suite from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. This suite is one of our absolute favourites out of the new catalogue and we are so excited to share our project with you! Enjoy!

Tip: Use cotton paper (which is like tissue) to create the origami heart. Cotton paper is easy to fold and crease, where cardstock is thick and creates a bulky and unflattering card centrepiece (trust us, we tried it).

Would you like a FREE tutorial on this project?!

Not convinced this suite is for you, yet?!
Continue on to Denise Donald's blog here:

To recreate our project, here's what you'll need:

We hope you loved this blog hop as much as we loved organizing it.
We hope you'll join us for next month's hop which will feature:

With Love: A Mini Treat Bag

Hi Stamper!
Andrea and Irma here again, with a great project for Valentine's Day, a Wedding, an Anniversary or a Birthday. This week's highlighted project of the week features the You're So Sweet stamp set + Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies Bundle, plus the Timeless Textures stamp set from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. This cute project was simple to make, but the 3D flowers make it look like a million bucks.

Tip: These flowers were inspired the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue, which has these small flowers on 1 of 13 interchangeable cards. Want to learn how to make them yourself? Well, we have a mini tutorial right here!

Punch four flowers out of the Cotton Paper Assortment pack (any colour you wish), using the Pansy Punch. Stack the flowers, punch a 1/16" hole in the middle and use a Silver Mini Brad to hold them together.
Take the top flower and crunch it up tight to create the centre bud. The next two flowers, do the same, creating petals around the bud. Lastly, take the last two flowers and push them against the inner petals. Move your flowers around until happy. This creates your small 3D flower.

This project is perfect for any crafter, whether you're a new or a veteran crafter.
We can't wait to see how you recreate this, so be sure to
hashtag your projects with jominacreations or link back to this page!

Blog Hop Announcement: January Edition

Hi Stamper!
Do you own a stamp set, that you fell in love with at first sight, but have only used once because you couldn't figure out how else to use it? Well no more! It's time to start dusting off those stamp sets and get creating. Starting this month, a group of my fellow demonstrators and us (Andrea & Irma) will be challenging ourselves to using the exact same products to create totally different projects. These projects will be posted to our personal blogs, on the last Saturday every month, and at the end of each of our posts you will find a link to the next person's blog. You can then "hop" to each project with ease.

This month's projects will include products from the Love Blossoms Suite in the 2016 Occasions Catalogue.

Want to meet my fellow demonstrators that are participating? Check out their blogs now:

We can't wait for you to see all of our amazing projects! See you next Saturday!

Make A Wish Birthday Card: Card Tutorial

Hi Stamper!
It’s a new year and with it comes tons of birthdays of all your family and friends. Want to get a head start on creating cards? Today we have a free tutorial on this super cute birthday card that is perfect for anyone, because it’s not overly masculine or feminine. These instructions are our FREE tutorial of the month, enjoy!

Prep Work
Whisper White
One piece cut to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and then scored in the middle at 4 ¼”
One 2 ½” Circle (Punch)

Basic Black
One piece cut to 2 ¾” x 3 ½”

Mint Macaron
One piece cut to 4 ¼” x 1 ¾”

Crushed Curry
One 2 ¾” Circle (Circle Framelits – 6th one from the middle)

Designer Series Paper (It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack)
Three pieces cut to ½” x 4”
One piece cut to 1” x 4”

Vellum
One piece cut 2” x 2”

Getting Started
First stamp the “cake” image from the Party Wishes stamp set in Mint Macaron onto the Whisper White 2 ½” Circle Punch. Using the Updated Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and a Stampin’ Piercing Mat, pierce the Whisper White circle using the circle pattern (3rd one from the outside). Glue this circle onto the Crushed Curry circle.

On the piece of vellum stamp the “make a wish” image from the Party Wishes stamp set in Jet Black StazOn and let dry (takes about 30 seconds). Once dry, punch it out with the 1 3/8” circle punch.

On all four pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) punch out the ends using the Triple Banner Punch. Using Dimensionals, glue on one of the DSP banners to the “cake” circle and glue the “make a wish” vellum circle onto the banner using a Glue Dot. Then tie a bow with the Mint Macaron twine from the Baker’s Twine Combo Pack and glue it with a glue dot onto the “make a wish” vellum circle. Set this whole piece aside.

Using the bottom of the Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, emboss the Basic Black, 2 ¾” x 3 ½” piece.

Assembling the Card
First, using Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach the three DSP banners (no pattern) to the back of the embossed Basic Black piece. Attach the embossed Basic Black piece using Tombo onto the 4 ¼” x 1 ¾” Mint Macaron piece.

Then, attach this whole piece using Dimensionals onto your card base. Be careful of the banners at the bottom as you don’t want to go over your card base’s edge. Lastly, using Dimensionals, attach the Crush Curry circle. To complete the card add a few “It’s My Party Enamel Dots” to the edges of the card.

Want to CASE (copy and share everything) this Card? Here's the Supplies Needed:

We hope that this card will inspire you to get ahead for all the occasions of 2016.
